"Nice day, eh Charley?", the boy inquired as he walked through the forest. "Char.", his little Orange companion cooed as he followed close beside Hiko. The pair trekked beneath the looming trees of route 01 aimlessly - just getting a little excercise; no destination had been set. Who's to say what they'd experience on this little trek.

[ Pokemon Found: Slakoth - Level 6 ]

Was scratching its back lazily however it doesn't like your blonde hair for it thinks it's such a ridiculous hair style and thus attacks you.

"Whoa! Never seen that one before.", the boy said, whipping out his pokedex. As the robotic voice of his device gave a quick synopsis, the beast stood on its hind legs and began beating upon its chest. Charley growled a little, crouching down on all fours. Then, suddenly, the beast charged.

"Alright Charley, uuh, use your tail - use the flame on your tail, smack him with it!", Hiko commanded. "Char!", his companion cooed, rising to his feet and rushing toward the incoming beast. As the distance between them began to close, Charley, leaped into the air, not too high. Rotation began, and his tail was brought around like the backhand of a pimp.

SMACK!

Flames smacked across the beasts face. OOH OOH!!!, it exclaimed, hands covering its burning visage. "Char~", Charley gave confidently, landing on his feet. "Good! Now Metal Claw while its down!", Hiko yelled. The little Charmander held his hand up, and his claws began to glow a silver hue. Rushing in again, his smacked the primate in the face, sending it flying back into the brush.

Anyways, the Slakoth gets back-handed by a tail [ wut ] and claw and as a result, goes flying back into the bush, unconscious.

"Alriiiight! Hell yeah!"

"CHAAAAAR~"

The boys seemed rather proud having defeated the beast. Charley retreated back to Hiko, and received a well-earned petting. Together the two strolled further down the path, descending deeper and deeper into the rabbit-hole, so to speak.

[ Pokemon Found: Abra - Level 7 ]

Sees the both of you from the immense foilage and curiosity tugs at it. Jumping down in front of you, it looks at both of you as it makes it way towards Char, apparently trying to start a conversation with him.

From the heavens did another Pokemon descend. It startled the boy and his little companion, both stopped in their tracks in unison. What was a startled expression upon Hiko's face quickly became a more intrigued face. Twas an Abra; he didn't even need the Pokedex to figure that out. But surprisingly enough, this Abra was kind of friendly. It fearlessly walked up to Charley, and began communicating with it.

"Ummm, kaaay.", the boy said a little awkwardly. Charley quickly became engaged in what was probably quite the gripping conversation. "Char, Chaaaaar", Charley said. "Aba, Aaaaab...", the Abra said. This went back and forth for about a minute before a light-bulb went off in Hiko's head. His smile became devious. "Charley, tell him you're gonna play hide n' seek.", the boy whispered to his ally. Charley nodded, and proceeded to speak to Abra in Pokenese.

The Abra nodded, and covered its eyes. "Ab...Ab...Ab.....", it began, supposedly counting. "Now, Metal Claw...", Hiko commanded softly. Charley raised its hand, which slowly began to glow. Then he brought it down hard against the Abra's head, knocking it back a few meters. Hesitation? No. Hiko quickly pulled out a Pokeball and chucked it at the fallen Abra. On contact, the capsule opened and a liquid-like light took over the Abra, dragging it into the ball....

Like the skank clever individual you are, you claw the Abra while it was simply counting for hide and seek and due to it not seeing it coming, it's temporarily unconscious. However, with the thrown Pokeball, the Abra has become captured.

"Whoo yeah! Nice work, Charley!"

"Chaaaar!"

Again, victory. But more than that - a new companion. Charley ran over to the sitting pokeball that held his new teammate, grabbed it with teeth, and brought it back to Hiko. "Thanks buddy.", the boy said with a smile, taking the shiny ball from the lizards' mouth. He shrunk the ball to a smaller size and placed it back on his belt with the others.

With that, they continued moving forward. Over the meadow and through the woods. The two trekked on, moving beneath the carelessly drifting clouds that danced overhead. Eventually, though, Charley grew tired and began to drift off to sleep. Taking the appropriate action, Charley was put back in his Pokeball to rest up.

The wide open plains were gorgeous, and seemingly endless. The young trainer trekked along a path, passing by farms and ponds; oh the wonders of the simple, country lifestyle.

[ Pokemon Found: Meowth - Level 6 ]

Sitting amongst the grass while polishing the coin upon its forehead.

"Oh wow..."

The boy whipped out his Pokedex, and it gave an explanation for the Pokemon up ahead.

--zzz-- MEOWTH, the Scratch Cat Pokemon. MEOWTH is the pre-evolved form of PERSIAN and enjoys polishing the gold coin that sits upon its head --zzz--

"Gold coin..?", the boy inquired to himself. He crouched low to the ground and squinted his eyes. The device wasn't lying;it did have a gold coin. The little cat sat there, admiring the little pendent. Hiko reached into his pouch, withdrawing a little pokeball. He clicked it, and it released a flood of light that quickly took the form of a small, kitten-like Pokemon.

"Shiiiinx", she cooed, stretching. Suddenly her ears flinched, and she turned around, spotting the Meowth. "Alright Spunky, sneak up and use tackle on the Meowth.", Hiko commanded, petting the little cat. Spunky nodded, and crouched low to the ground.

Almost crawling, the stealthy Shinx moved forward, closing in on the unsuspecting Meowth. In range, Spunky charged forth, head down ready to ram the other feline. The Meowth's eyes opened wide in shock, and it got to its feet; not in time, though. Spunky collided with the Meowth, sending it tumbling back. "Nice work, Spunky!", Hiko said, jumping with joy.

The Meowth was quick to recover though. In no time it was back on its feet, and charging at Spunky; it was using tackle too, apparently. "Spunky, dodge to the right and use tackle again!", Hiko commanded. Spunky stood her ground, waiting till the least second to dodge. Within mere feet of the Meowth, Spunky leaped to the side, allowing the cat to blaze right past him. Meowth skidded to a stop, and tried to counter.

Twas too late though. The instant that he stopped, Spunky rammed the Meowth again, knocking him into the air.
