No New Posts Route 01

Route 01 is usually embraced by warm sunshine and the salty breeze always caresses the flat landscape as the winds pass from sea to land. The majority of this route (which is a worn dirt path from the heavy traffic) is within eyeshot of the beach, and many travelers cannot resist the siren call of the tropical waters and pause for a swim. Tall, tropical grasses and flowers can be found on the northern side of the path while the white sand beach and ocean lay to the south. Towering palm trees provide intermittent and small patches of shade if a wary traveler needs a rest. This route connects Fairburn Town to Chrysolite Forest by traveling north, and to Route 02 by traveling east.

No New Posts Route 02

Route 02 is made up mostly by dense fields and sporadic farmlands which are used to upkeep Flint City’s large population. This route is flat and is shaped like a backwards “L.” Though the unkempt grasses of the land not maintained by farmers makes long distance vision difficult without stilts or an aerial view, towering alabaster windmills mark local farmhouses who are usually happy to give a helping hand to adventures who are in need of some assistance. This route connects to Route 01 to the East and Flint City to the North.

No New Posts Route 03

A route shrouded in mystery due to the relative inactivity, this path leads north of Flint City and wraps around a rocky bay before heading south towards a Haunted Mansion. The path is mostly a poorly up kept boardwalk which passes over a muddy swamp which reeks of rotting plant mass and stagnant water. Clouds of gnats and mosquitoes are frequent and haunting lights can be seen glowing in the distance. Local legend dictates that these areas are haunted due to paranormal overflow from the enormous Haunted Mansion which lays at the path’s end.

No New Posts Jade City

A large city that is known for its wildlife preservation and the home of the Bug Gym. The town itself is famous for it being friendly towards the surrounding ecosystem as well as the residents striving to preserve nature for the innate beauty it brings. The buildings themselves are mostly constructed of a sturdy wood except for those in possession of high technology such as the Item Shop and Pokemon Center. Even then, you will notice that plants of all types are present throughout the town itself, further projecting its image as a “Nature Town.”

A city known for its festive nightlife as well as the home of the Dark Gym. Casinos, shops, hotels and other lavish buildings are prevalent within the city itself, making it popular for those who wish to go and have a good time. Shady organizations seem to settle headquarters within the city though it’s difficult to differentiate their base of operation apart from the multitudes of buildings present within the city.

No New Posts Route 05

Route 05 is a path set near the center of Harushima, deep down in the valleys just south of the mountains. The western side of the path is a single deep valley with high, overarching cliffs and moderate vegetation. Tall grass litters the path all the way through. The path reaches Patuxent Cave near the halfway mark, where it becomes less deep and more spontaneously varied. The path moves up and down as it passes through many seperate, smaller valleys. The temperature is moderate, neither hot nor cold, and sustains a variety of plants and animals, people and pokémon. To the west the path connects to Biotite city, and to the east Jade City.

No New Posts Route 07

Route 07 is a hot route of water and sand. The water is always warm, and often has many swimmers fighting against its waves. The air is hot and moist from the sea. The sun caresses every turn of the watery path. Along the way, many sandy islands dot the waters, remnants of past volcanic eruptions. They range in size, but none grow too large. Some have lush vegetation, green and ripe from the pale yellow rays of the sun, and the clear, moist air. At the northern end, the route connects to route 2, while at the southern end, it merges with an island of extreme vegetation and little civilization. At the end of the tropical forest resides Pyroxene Volcano.

No New Posts Route 06

A route made up of trees and grasslands, it is most closely identified as a forest (though not forested to the extent that Chrysolite is). This route boasts a temperate climate year round. Towering deciduous and coniferous trees intermingle on the worn dirt pathway, and shade is always in abundance here. Though rare, log cabins, both inhabited and abandoned can be found nestled within the forest, offering vestige to lost or worn travelers. Route 06 connects to Route 08 to the north and Route 07 to the south.

No New Posts Route 08

Route 08 is a pathway made up of almost completely water. The sun envelopes everything, smiling down upon the waters and its inhabitants. Salty breezes flow across the rather gentle waves; the water itself is a gorgeous, deep blue. The route begins just north of Feldspar City, with a calm, sandy beach. Two islands rest along the path, the first used as a small rest stop. It isn't very large, and only has a lone pokémon center on it. People often stop to simply gaze at the waters or the clear sky. The second, after another good stretch of waves, is a larger island which contains Rhodo Town. Finally, the route ends on an island which is the home of Dragon's Peak.

A town that is known for its strong Oriental influenced culture as well as the home of the Fighting Gym. The fact that the town itself is located upon an island adds more to its exotic disposition. Even though the town itself is well-known, it keeps a general peaceful atmosphere reminiscent of other towns present within Harushima and thus, is a popular place for travelers to simply relax and enjoy themselves. A Pokemon Contest Hall is also present within the city as well.

No New Posts Route 09

Route 09 is a dangerous route, even if only for its length. The route is punishingly long. It cuts through a mountain and is filled with all sorts of rocky crags and cliffs. It is a barren place, where only rocks and few weeds clutter the path. While the sky is open, it only invites a heat which lifts from the lonesome rocks in mirages. Very little life crosses the path, save for those determined trainers, their faithful pokémon, and the pokémon that call the barren place home. On the eastern edge of the path, the mountainous path merges with the ocean into a watery path, which swings north to Beryl City. To the west, the path connects to Feldspar City, and to Patuxent cave in the south.

No New Posts Route 10

Route 10 is a cold and treacherous path. Through its beauty lies its danger. It is a path of white, with glittering snow flakes and great pine trees. Often times, the path is hard to keep track of through the deep, powdery snow, but it is a rather straight trek, save for a single turn to the west once the path meets the frozen waters of the northern sea. The sun shows itself through the harsh blizzards very little, though never for periods long enough to melt the ever frozen forest. It is a place trapped in perpetual cold, and perpetual beauty. It is connected to Beryl City to the south, and Sylvite City to the northwest.
