Crysta is the leader of the Gym in Sylvite City, and a master of Ice Type Pokemon. Crysta is a calm and collected woman, not to the point of being cold-hearted but rather she knows how to control her emotions and act accordingly. She is of average build with light blue hair that stops at shoulder level. She typically wears a white coat with matching pants and snow shoes with a pink scarf wrapped around her neck. Her Pokeballs are carried in her coat.

Tanya's gym is designed to give her Ice Types the added advantage. The arena consists of typical earth coated with a thin layer of ice as well as icicles being present about the field itself. The two trainers stand on opposite sides of the arena, which is twenty meters long and ten meters wide. The arena itself is raised about a meter above ground. There are no windows within the Arena as the spectator benches stand about five meters away from the arena itself.

When defeated, Crysta offers the Frost Badge, a diamond shaped badge that resembles that of an Icicle in order to symbolize the winner’s triumph over the bitter cold.
