Rhodo Gym

Yoh is the leader of the Gym in Rhodo City, and the most prominent master of Fighting Type Pokemon. Yoh is dressed in traditional martial artist clothing, with a black gi that is tied quietly in place with a white belt. He wears no shoes and wears a simple white haori-style robe over his gi most of the time. His hair is dark and of medium length, as orderly and peaceful as the rest of him. He's calm and utterly serene, with a side that is viciously cold and powerful. His Pokeballs are carried discreetly on the inside of his Gi. His strongest Pokemon is his Hitmonlee, which waits at his beck and call at all times.

Yoh's Gym mirrors the peace and discipline inside his own mind. The gym is nothing more than a traditional dojo, constructed from wood and rice-paper frames. The arena itself is a sparring floor, a large, empty room of the dojo with spectator stands along the walls of it, about five meters away from the ring. The arena itself is just a traditional Pokemon battlefield, painted onto the wooden floor of the dojo. The arena is twenty meters long and ten meters wide. The arena is easy enough to destroy with moves that are too powerful.

When defeated, Yoh bequeaths the Matter Badge, a metal yin-yang that indicates the trainer's mastery over the focused might of the physical form.
