Having left Fairburn, it was time to progress through route one, probably leading the pair onto route two after that. "Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeely. I do hope we won't run into any wild Pokemon while we are travelling. I suppose i could simply run them over with your wheelchair if we do? At any rate, it shouldn't take long to get anywhere. But getting somewhere is a different matter entirely..." Daisy rambled, drifting along behind her friend's chair as the sun shone down on the well-travelled route.
Although many trainers were searching for Pokemon and challenging each other around them, Daisy wasn't particularly interested in the typical trainer activites. She wasn't particularly interested in anything, apart from everything, and as such, it made sense to continue on to the next town. "Do you know where the nearest town is? I mean, if we simply continue rolling along, we could end up in the sea! I wouldn't see it coming, so make sure to keep lookout for the ocean if i get too close, okay?" Daisy said sensibly.
Really though, on such a nice day, with enjoyable company and a light step, the little girl didn't care over much about their destination. However, route one was coming to an end, and once Daisy finished writing this paragraph, they would reach route two! Or, rather, when they got to the end of the dirt road.

You reached the other side, however, before you exit the route, a Sunkern bounds in your path!
It is only level 3, and for some reason keeps jumping up and down. [/blockquote]

Unexpected. Wheely had left for the Lab, and so Daisy was facing this little bouncy creature alone. Although she hadn't intended to catch anything else so quickly, it was rather endearing, what with its stuff and things. "And so, seedyseedy, i shall enslave you! Or at least, make you live in a little ball for the rest of your days." The little girl announced, before throwing Oddish in its general direction.
Daisy's own little leaf creature appeared and wandered over to the opposing little leaf creature. "Now now now, we ought to do the leaf bit, so attend!" She called, and Oddish complied by launching a Razor Leaf attack at the Sunkern. The move being of the Grass type, meant that it wouldn't overly damage her opponent, and the little Sunkern countered with an Absorb. Oddish's dual type of Grass and Poison meant that the Sunkern's attack did the littlest amount of damage, and then Daisy's Pokemon retaliated with an Absorb of its own, which did slightly more damage due to its higher level, and Sunkern's single type.
"Okay, okay, okay, okay, we oughtn't kill it, so perhaps a single one of the sucky bit moves, and now go!" Daisy rambled, balancing on one leg as she directed her little attendant. Oddish felt this prudent, and used Absorb once more. Little level three Sunkern appeared to be on its last legs, and so Daisy halted her vague assault, and rummaged in her big boots for an empty Pokeball. "Suuuuunkern! If you wouldn't mind." Daisy said considerately, before chucking the ball at her quarry. The metal ball bashed the poor seed right in its face, and then sucked it inside, following up with a wigglewigglewiggle flash~! After which, Daisy would soon see whether she had captured the adorable little creature!

So that was that. Daisy had caught her first Pokemon. "I'm terribly excited." She murmured, stepstepstepping over to Sunkern's new home and plucking it up from amongst the grass. Planting a little kiss on the pokeball, Daisy slipped it into her boot, followed by Oddish's pokeball, after the leafy creature was recalled. And with that unexpected, but rather pleasant interruption, Daisy continued on her way, leaving Route One and entering the vast depths of the Crysolite Forest.
She wasn't particularly afraid, after all, Wheely was with her. Maybe. Did she leave his chair somewhere...?
