This battle is open for the first two people that post here. You're allowed three of your pokémon, in this triple melee. That means all three pokémon out at once, with three people, for anyone who isn't aware. Your three pokémon will be set to level 100 and their movesets will be that of the four moves they would have most recently learned at level 100. You're gonna be bumping the three pokémon to max evolution, though, and using that moveset. Also, your pokémon are allowed to have ABILITIES! In accordance with Gen 4 and Gen 5 games, that is. Confused? Here are my pokémon, as an example. Wolf, the houndoomAbility: Flash Fire Embargo Flamethrower Crunch Nasty Plot Aster, the meganiumAbility: Overgrow Body Slam Safeguard Aromatherapy Solar Beam Quin, the zangooseAbility: Immunity Detect False Swipe X-Scissor Close Combat All other site rules apply, including attacks. I'll be starting things off with the arena and opening post, in my reply to this. Yay for me!

James Randen stood in the balcony, looking out into the massive arena below him. His balcony and the other two were evenly spaced apart, along the wall, at about three meters(15') off the ground. As he looked over the massive stage of battle, which he reckoned to be close to twenty meters(60') in diameter, he took note of the hard-looking soil which was speckled with rocks, here and there.
He also noticed the few trees that were sparsely located about the area, and the small pond that was just off-center in the arena. He took all this in, even though the arena was dimly lit, only bright enough to barely see the other side of it. He looked up and couldn't even see the ceiling, staring only into pitch black.
He laughed a bit, and decided to send his three pokémon out in anticipation of his opponents. He wondered how this would turn out, as he had never fought like this before. In fact, he had only battled once before this. It seemed as if the world of pokémon battling was full of surprises. As the pokéballs hit the ground, Wolf, Aster, and Quin were sent out. They each called out their name with fervor and excitement about the upcoming battle.
"Don't get cocky! Take this time to get used to the terrain, but be ready for the other two trainers!" Each of his pokémon gave affirmation to what he had said, and began testing the arena and its layout. As an afterthought, he added, "But don't use up too much energy!"
((OoC: Oh yeah. The battling can't start until all three trainers have sent out their pokémon.))

...Sorry, I'm a battle hog. And I couldn't pass up the chance to use Garchomp and Tyranitar.Azazel the Garchomp Ability: Sand Veil Dragon Rush Dig Earthquake Crunch
Gaia the Tyranitar Ability: Sand Stream Crunch Earthquake Stone Edge Hyper Beam
Tenchi the Tropius Ability: Chlorophyll Air Slash SolarBeam Natural Gift Leaf Storm
Ranryuujin Sparda Gunshin entered the arena, looking and feeling very confident about this fight. His pokemon were at their peak- though they could be better than they were now- and were raring to go and kick all butt in this challenge. "Azazel, Tenchi, Gaia... I choose you!" Ranryuujin shouted as he threw three pokeballs onto the arena. From those pokeballs out came a Garchomp, a Tropius, and a Tyranitar respectively. All were big, bad, and intimidating as heck even as they took in the sights. "Prepare yourselves for the fight. Remember to size up your opponents first." He spoke evenly to his pokemon. They all nodded and began to roam around for a bit since the battle hasn't started yet.
