"I've finally decided Nincada!"

RJ and Nincada had headed straight to the nearby Lake Lapis after training Teddiursa Superpower on Route 4. After they had gotten there he had sat under a tree engrossed in his masters notebook. You see he realized he needed an assistant who could get him samples underwater for his research, so he was deciding which water-type pokemon he should attempt to obtain.
"I've decided I shall try to catch a Totodile, because they are strong, fast, and because they are hunters they can easily locate pokemon for my research!"
RJ, realizing his Nincada was not going to be able to swim and his Teddiursa still might be tired, he decided to go looking for one himself. He left Nincada to watch his stuff as he changed into his bathing suit and dove in.
